About Ben

Dr. Ben Elman

 

With over 20 years of corporate experience between the UK and the US, and being a B2C SAAS small business founder. Today, he specializes in finance (Private Equity and banking Services) and higher education verticals.

Ben began his journey into Finance in 2004, selling anti-money laundering software (at Infrasoft Technologies) to Banks in the U.K. In 2008, Ben sold marketing software into finance, alongside other industries in New York City. 10 years and one Ph.D. later, Ben shifted from developing college students to developing bank and private equity (among other industries) leaders, teams, and HIPOs through workshops and 1-1 coaching calls in Pennsylvania (at Bartell & Bartell). In 2022, Ben left to start his consulting firm to serve the private equity and finance sectors predominantly.

Ben has published in peer-reviewed business and psychology journals. All publications are available to read on his LinkedIn page. Ben has also presented at national conferences and spoken on panels - including at Columbia University.

Ben began his career in sales after graduating with a Business Degree. During a six-year sales career, he elevated from a national top seller at Cadbury Chocolate in London, UK, to a senior account manager role at Experian’s marketing software division in NYC. Ben then created an online B2C SAAS subscription business that is still operating today called datebritishguys.com (aka. Dating Across The Pond app to launch in 2024).

Outside work, Ben loves doing bath-time puppet shows with his five-year-old son, Teddy, having picnics with Zita, his beautiful and talented girlfriend, and watching soccer (with a cold beer) or an old-fashioned whenever possible.

Ben is also a dual citizen of the UK and USA.
